Grants Development
Provide consultation services for developing grant strategies, forecasting timelines, and performing prospect research that best meets the needs of the clients we serve.
Manage a small staff of grant writers to maintain clear and consistent communication with clients to streamline collaborative grant projects and meet required deadlines.
Offer full grant writing services that include researching, identifying, writing, and submitting grant applications and letters of intent through various funding sources such as: local, state, and federal grants as well as private, corporate, and family foundations.
Develop boilerplate and template libraries for grant proposals and other required supporting documentation needed for the successful submission of applications.
Serve as a federal grant reviewer for state and federal programs primarily within the sectors of education, social services, disadvantaged youth, and healthcare.
Train new and existing staff on managing proposals, researching and prospecting opportunities, writing grant policies, narratives, and other related documents for marketing and cultivation purposes, building a successful funding pipeline, and ensuring overall sustainable fundraising practices.
Grants Research, Reporting, and Management
Provide research and statistical data to support and strengthen grant narratives.
Research and identify potential donors through community outreach, networking events, and CRM databases.
Create data-driven metrics, reports, and other related documentation in collaboration with senior leadership and key staff members.
Collaborate with internal marketing to disseminate fundraising materials such as thank you notes, annual reports, appeals, etc.
Fundraising Planning and Board Development
Plan and execute sustainable fundraising strategies through a diverse mix of corporate, private, and family foundation solicitations, high net worth individual donor cultivation, event planning, and other sources of revenue prospecting.
Forecast philanthropic cultivation and stewardship that are viable and promote donor retention.
Collaborate with community leaders and organizations to maximize funding opportunities to further our clients’ mission and the population(s) they serve.
Event planning that includes solicitations for in-kind and monetary donations, sponsorships, and donor engagement, grass roots campaigns, galas, and signature events.
Coordinate volunteer opportunities for clients.
Develop a broad pipeline of donor prospects and cultivate them accordingly.
Assist with marketing through social media, online campaigns, and annual giving programs.
Implement objectives directed towards organization’s current or future campaigns and initiatives.
Serve as a liaison for members of the board and work with finance and administrative teams to ensure all funds raised are being properly stewarded.
